The 3quel: Robot & Chip's Engagement Party
Voila! 3quel the sequel's coda presaged,
starring Robot & Chip, couple who could upstage
Wills & Kate, Kanye & Kim, Matt Murdoch & Karen Page.
This year, Diss Mercury reported they're engaged!
At H.Samuel, Professor Chip proffered his wage,
well, clicked onto the link Robot had messaged
him. & obvs I mean 'ESA' when I say 'wage'.
Still, emerald ring for his Everything was Chip's pur- chaze.
Her instructions were perfect, he no ring gauge
required (tho' a box of sizers all top-of-the-range
Ma Botkins could twoc if they did). They threw engage-
ment party at Hinderclough Hall, where a sausage
roll & glass of fizzy pop was by kid & codg-
er on both sides scurped & sloffed (& by codg-
er, I refer to Chip as old as Old Shep). No gavage
tubes were picky guests fed, nor need to scavenge
had latecomers, for engagement buffet was ledge!
& with her cookies, Robot outbaked Marge
Simpson! Among Professorial entourage
was the naughty lab assistant & future page-
boy, Camden. 'Round him, Lucy went as shy as Raj
Koothrapoli (unless he's swigged plonk of %age
in double digits). Who had Indian head massage?
Ma Botkins, after Camden bounced like a cleavage
upon her new couch. 'Can't you put him in a cage?'
Chip pleaded with Professor Raffie, sis of visage
oft-selfied, & Cam's mum. But he was acting his age.
The 2 clans mingled, e.g. inlaw badinage
between Professor Paris, after a hot beverage,
& Pa Botkins, the brewbot, scanning the fridge
for moo juice. In his bantasaurus dotage,
Chip himself re-recited his fav 'sauvage'
skit of burying his bling at the alloty with Sarge
like Johnny Depp in the ad. Balloons of purple & arg-
ent festooned the hall, where this fond assemblage
of kith & kin convened. Guests from Norwich
included Professors Getgy & Tink, not from Oxbridge,
but Aviva Poly; Prof. Wayne, the don of Comic College,
& Co. Not to mention Chip's mum in derang-
edly pink raiment, but at least she didn't whinge.
& Robot's grandbots & guests from the village
- like the Renders, robots like Robot and Bender
- quaffing voltage
as they toasted this romantic rite of passage,
'Beep beep!' Next, Diss Mercury'll pap Chip-Bot's marriage!
